Mardi Himal Trek

Mardi Himal trek is a hidden gem and a relatively new route that is still less crowded than some of the more popular routes. Mardi Himal Base Camp is spectacularly situated at the base of Mardi Himal Peak and the impressive Machapuchhre.

The trail goes along small paths through magical rhododendron forests, until you climb out of the forest around 3,300 m. The landscape changes quite abruptly into a rough high mountain landscape, with amazing views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Himchuli.
From High Camp (3580 m, you can climb in about 3-4 hours to Mardi Himal Basecamp, which offers spectacular close up views of the entire Annapurna Range.
There are simple guesthouses and teahouses along the entire route.
